It is a Californian style residence situated in the village
of Windlesham
in Surrey,
England.
The 103-room mansion has 58 acres of landscaped gardens and private woodland.
It was, in 2005, the most expensive private home on the market anywhere in the
world, having been listed for sale with estate agencies Savills
and Hamptons International for in excess of
£70 million.
- Maison La Miami
You cannot believe the selling price of La Miami villa is
up to US$125 million. It located in Florida. In 2004, Donald Trump bought it at
the bankruptcy price US$41.25 million. After remodeling, it supports banquet
hall, concert hall and swimming pool etc. The main purpose of this villa is to
break the record of the selling.
- Villa Mairea
Villa Mairea is a villa, guest-house, and
rural retreat designed and built by the Finnish modernist architect Alvar Aalto
for Harry and Maire
Gullichsen in Noormarkku, Finland.
The Gullichsens were a wealthy couple and members of the Ahlström
family. They told Aalto that he should regard it as 'an experimental
house'. Aalto seems to have treated the house as an opportunity to bring
together all the themes that had been preoccupying him in his work to that
point but had not been able to include them in actual buildings.
- Toprak Mansion
Toprak Mansion located in London. It’s a neo-classic palace
built buy a Turkish entrepreneur. And then it became the most luxurious house of
Halis Toprak. Its luxury is not only showed on the decoration but also the
equipments. Its
main living space of approximately 2.8 million square feet total, including a
spacious spiral staircase, four kitchens and 80 feet long luxury lounge. There
are recreational activities included a comprehensive pool room, Turkish bath
and sauna, two acres of green space. It is priced at about 50 million pounds.
- Vanna Venturi House
The Vanna Venturi House, one of the first prominent works
of the postmodern architecture movement, is located in the neighborhood of
Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was designed by architect
Robert Venturi for his mother Vanna Venturi, and constructed between 1962
-1964. The house was sold in 1973 and remains a private residence. The house is
not open to the public.
